It's all too easy to conceptualize what zen is and is not. This is a trap.
Instead of trying to understand zen, why not step back and see your own mind?
This is my goal: help others recognize that they can and should take a step back, question deeply, and see their own minds.
You don't need to hold any beliefs or call yourself a zennist to do this work.
If you are sincere in your motivation to sort out your confusion, you will.
But only you can do this for you.I have no answers, no teachings, nor any medicine for you. I simply focus on cutting off my doubt at the root and want to offer a space for others to join in, step back, and see for themselves.
For now I'll offer a live sitting on Fridays (via Youtube Live) that you are welcome to join. My aim is to schedule some intensitves (all-day sessions) in the future for those interested in participating more fully.
If you need some convincing or a starting point, I highly recommend reading a bit of Foyan.
